   Paintings: There is a well known arts gallery called Dev's art Gallery at Calangute on the road going to Baga in case you would like to take home some original paintings.
   Carpets: Several shops including some on Holiday Street where our resort is located sell a wide variety of carpets.
   There are also several shops that sell jewellery as well as authenthic Goan Handicrafts. There are also a wide variety of street shops in Calangute like the one shown in the picture below where items like bags, pouches, trinkets, souvenir items are sold. Calangute Weather

Calangute is blessed with excellent weather conditions for most parts of the year. The temperature range in Calangute during the main holiday season from November to March is between 20 °C and 25 °C for most of the time. Night temperatures may dip to about 18°C during late December and January. The maximum temperatures begin to rise by the end of March to around 28°C

Sightseeing in Calangute

Besides the Calangute beach which is definitely the highlight, there are also lots of other spots to visit in and around Calangute.
Candolim as well as Baga beaches are located at a distance of just about 2Kms or less from our resort. The Aguada fort and Sinquerim Beach are a little further at about 5 kms from our resort.
